2017 National Energy Code Conference

This July 17-20 in Pennsylvania join the U.S. Department of Energy for the 2017 National Energy Codes Conference!

This year’s event will cover a variety of critical topics, including code development, implementation, policy, tools and resources, with a focus on achieving compliance. Be sure to catch the latest news and information affecting the future of codes and our built environment!

This four day event includes a full day crash course on energy codes. This energy-code workshop will provide a sampling of code basics, compliance software training, and what’s new in codes. Attendees will also get a chance to present their questions directly to DOE & PNNL staff. It is offered at no additional charge to conference attendees, however; space is limited and registration is required.

The 2017 National Energy Codes Conference will visit the new Tower at PNC Plaza in downtown Pittsburgh! The tour will be free of charge for attendees of the full conference. However, advanced registration is required and space is limited. Sign up today!

The Tower at PNC Plaza

Rising 33 stories near the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers, the Tower at PNC Plaza opened in October 2015 as PNC’s new corporate headquarters. The building, which hosts more than 2000 employees, incorporates many state-of-the-art technologies, including a double-skin façade and solar chimney. The tower was designed to exceed LEED Platinum certification and to be the greenest office building in the world.
